Whale watching has become a past time and a water sport activity for the tourists and local whale enthusiasts since recently. Out of the largest mammals on earth, Sri Lanka is the place where you can observe the largest land mammal, the elephant, and the largest sea mammal the Whale.

Whaleslive has many years of experience of whale watching guidance and fishing, and today it’s one of the best sightseeing crew of Southern Coast Whales in Sri Lanka. With nearly decade of expertise in the field, the Whaleslive has certainly gained its respect and unparalleled reputation for its service excellence. Whaleslive follow an Environmental-friendly whale watching rules and protect whales during the whale watching.

Please note that we will not provide any commission for tourist guides who bring tourist for whale watching through this web site. If you are a tourist, please make your reservation by sending email or making a phone call by yourself. Also refrain facts asking about the other businesses of unnecessary information, personnel other than booking yourself or tour information about your whale watching tour.

Our Whale Watching Tour

Our whale watching tours starts in July and operate until May. Additional tours can be arranged in rest of the year if the weather and sea conditions are good enough for whale watching tours.

What you can see

During our journey to Blue whales we can see several other whale species, dolphins and other marine life also. Killer whales, Sperm whales and Bride whales are the different kind’s whales we can see. Spinner dolphins, Bottled nosed dolphins and Riso dolphins are the various dolphin types. Also Green back turtle, Whale shark, Flying fish and Tuna fish are other marine species can be seen in some days.

Our Services

Snorkeling

Take delight in south coast and swim and snorkel to your heart’s content at the beach town of Mirissa where you’ll get a chance to see turtles in the sea.

Diving

Mirissa is prefect to learn diving if you are an amature and those who got paid license to explore turtles and reef fishs. Best time November to April.
